Carriage Rides

Enjoy a private Shire horse carriage ride through the beautiful west Gloucestershire countryside.

Starting from Coldcroft Farm or an agreed location,

a bespoke Carriage Ride can be created for that special occasion

From the Farm

Join family and friends for a unique experience, travelling along the quiet country lanes by Shire horse and carriage.

There is the opportunity to take control of the driving lines during your trip. This is subject to the coachman's assessment on the day.

The carriage we use is the height of luxury. Built using traditional techniques, but with the comfort of suspension, handrails and padded seats ensures you will have the most comfortable of rides.

We also have a vintage trail wagon for larger groups.

The carriage rides start at Coldcroft Farm. When you arrive you will have the chance to meet our Cotswold sheep, Ryeland sheep, Gloucester cattle, Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs and West of England Geese, as well as of course our Shire horses. We are both proud and happy to be supporting the rare breeds of our home county and country.

For winter trips, to help keep the cold away you can use one of our sheepskin rugs or woven scarves made from our very own flock at Coldcroft Farm.
